Parade Grand Marshal

HANS LARSEN—In recognition of his service as the Town’s Executive Director for 11 years, and prior service on the Advisory Committee and as Chairman.

Wellesley Lifetime Achievement Award TERRENCE M. CUNNINGHAM—In recognition of his service with the Wellesley Police Department for 34 years, the last 17 years as Police Chief.
Nation's Highest Miliary Honor

DAVID G. OUELLET FAMILY—In recognition of the 50th Anniversary of the posthumous receipt of the nations highest military award, the Medal of Honor, to David G. Ouellet, USN, who was raised in Wellesley .

Community Service Award

OWEN H. DUGAN, SR.—In recognition of his service on the Board of Public Works, 2012-2017, 1998-2005, from 2005-2012 on the Board of Selectmen, a longtime Town Meeting Member, the Advisory Committee and many other community service endeavors.

BARBARA D. SEARLE—In recognition of her 9 years serving on the Board of Selectmen, the Advisory Committee and as Chair, the Wellesley Historical Commission, Community Preservation Committee and a long time Town Meeting Member.

DAVID L. MURPHY--In recognition of his term serving on the Board of Selectmen, the Advisory Committee and as Chairman, and as a Town Meeting Member.

MARGARET ANN “PEG” METZGER—In recognition of  her 8 years serving as Town Moderator, as a Trustee of the Wellesley Free Libraries, the Advisory Committee and as Chair and as a long time Town Meeting Member.

Community Service Award JOAN E. GAUGHAN--In recognition of her 20 years serving on the Natural Resources Commission, service on the Community Preservation Committee, Trails Committee and a long time Town Meeting Member.
Community Service Award WENDY W. PAUL--In recognition of her 2 terms on the School Committee, numerous committees and 3 terms as a Town Meeting Member.
Dedicated Service Award JAMES VERNER—In recognition of his 32 years of service to the town with the Municipal Light Plant, most recently, prior to his retirement, as Superintendent of the Department.
Chief of Staff CAPT. ROBERT D. BLAKE, USNR-Ret.—25 of service in the U.S. Navy, active in military events and Wellesley town/veterans activities.
Special Recognition Award WELLESLEY METCO—In recognition of the 50th Anniversary of METCO (Metropolitan Council for Educational Opportunity) in Wellesley schools, that has enriched the community through the expanded perspectives and insights that Boston students have brought to our learning community.
